Bill Moore

Dr. Moore has been taking care of animals since he was a child growing up on a farm in Tennessee. He studied animal science at the University of Tennessee Knoxville and completed his veterinary studies at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. He began his veterinary career in a mixed animal practice in Tennessee before focusing on dogs and cats. Dr. Moore enjoys internal medicine, cardiology, pain management, dermatology, behavior and ultrasound.

Eventually in 2017 he began working full time as an emergency veterinarian at a specialty hospital in southwest Florida. He continued to work in general practice as a traveling relief doctor part time and then full time until he moved to California in 2025. This combination of emergency and general-practice experience has given him a well-rounded perspective on urgent care, continuity of care, and client communication. He has joined the team at Pacific Care Pet Emergency and Specialty to once again focus on emergency medicine.

When not working, Dr. Moore enjoys spending time outdoors, attending live music events and travel.
